Tom Chamales was a famous author of the 1950’s and 1960’s and a great friend to owner Tony Spiratos. He frequented Sea View Villa often to write his novels as the estate provided a great backdrop for inspiration. One novel that he wrote at Sea View Villa was “Never So Few” which shortly after being written became a movie with Frank Sinatra and Steve McQueen.

This apartment back in 1881 was one of the master bedroom suites of the Deas family. With its very own private balcony, the oceanfront views are everywhere to capture from this apartment at Sea View Villa. When the clouds part and the sun shines on the ocean right in front of the estate it is like the heavens themselves have parted and are shining down on you. After staying in this apartment you will leave knowing why Tom Chamales came here for relaxation and inspiration to write his novels.
